Operational Material Demand Planner

About the role

Join Vestas' Global Offshore CPX IDP & Operational Material Demand Planning team, supporting offshore wind turbine projects across the Asia‑Pacific region. You will work closely with project teams to plan, procure and track the materials needed for successful project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Engage early with project teams to understand customer needs and initiate procurement plans.
• Create Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and support purchasing for Recommended Spare Parts List (RSPL) and Site Order List (SOL) demand.
• Track material readiness and ensure services and goods are ordered on time.
• Maintain continuous dialogue with global procurement on sourcing criteria and supplier readiness.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve master data, invoicing, customs and import clearance issues.
• Follow established processes and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
• Consider the end‑to‑end workflow and optimise each step for the best overall outcome.

Required profile

• Degree in procurement, purchasing, supply chain management or a related field.
• Experience in demand planning, purchasing management or similar activities.
• Committed, highly motivated and proactive in taking on tasks.
• Open to feedback and continuous improvement.
