NAND Product Engineer

About the role

Solidigm, a global memory company headquartered in Rancho Cordova, California, is looking for a NAND Product Engineer in Hsinchu. The role supports high-volume manufacturing (HVM) operations, provides first-level product disposition, performs failure analysis and maintains the hardware and software of the related analysis tools. It is critical for stable production, tool readiness and timely response to yield and quality issues, working with Product Engineering, Test Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Quality and Reliability teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage failure and qualification sample materials, including logistics, storage and tracking documentation.
• Maintain lab tools' hardware and software, and coordinate and maintain operation procedures.
• Provide onsite support to remote teams for electrical failure analysis tasks.
• Monitor production yield and perform first-level SBL disposition according to established criteria and guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience supporting engineering and manufacturing tools, including hardware maintenance, software installation, troubleshooting, calibration and upgrades.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams, and to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Preferred: 0-3 years of semiconductor manufacturing or test engineering experience, NAND Flash product experience, and knowledge of statistical analysis and basic failure analysis methods.

Required skills

• Data analysis tools such as Excel, JMP, Python, Perl or SQL, or equivalent.
• Preferred: automated data extraction, reporting or scripting tools.
