Medical Specialist – North Area

About the role

Takeda is seeking a Medical Specialist for the North Area of Taiwan, covering the Taoyuan, Hsinchu, and Miaoli markets. The role focuses on rare disease and IBD therapeutic areas, building strong relationships with key decision makers and driving commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage field sales strategies in collaboration with Marketing, Medical, VD&A and Patient Service functions.
• Conduct field visits and establish relationships with key decision makers and committees within buying organizations.
• Collect and analyse market data to produce short‑ and long‑term sales forecasts and support key projects.
• Monitor competitive activity, including bid processes and product listings, and report findings.
• Provide consolidated forecasts and regional insights to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a medical‑related field or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of successful healthcare sales experience.
• At least three years of experience in the pharmaceutical or life‑sciences industry, preferably in specialty care.
• Experience or knowledge of genetics, cardiology, neurology, gastro‑intestinal, CRS‑related rare diseases and IBD is preferred.
• Willingness to travel across multiple territories.
