Manufacturing Quality Engineer – Process Excellence & ISO Audit

About the role

ASML’s Linkou Factory is looking for a Manufacturing Quality Engineer focused on Process Excellence and ISO audit activities. You will act as the bridge between the factory and the Global Manufacturing Academy, ensuring that quality knowledge is captured, standardized and continuously improved.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the Linkou Factory in the Global Manufacturing Academy and learning networks, consolidating learning materials and competence frameworks.
• Lead internal ISO 9001 audits, define audit strategy, scope and risk‑based planning, and support external certification audits (e.g., BSI).
• Conduct audit execution across manufacturing, logistics and support processes, produce objective evidence and audit reports.
• Drive root‑cause analysis, define corrective‑and‑preventive actions (CAPA) and ensure timely closure of findings.
• Co‑own selected L3/L4 manufacturing processes, apply Business Process Management principles to define purpose, inputs/outputs, KPIs, RACI and documentation.
• Govern the Document Control Center, ensuring procedures and work instructions are authored, reviewed, approved, version‑controlled and accessible on the shop floor.
• Collaborate with engineering, logistics and quality stakeholders to align on process and compliance expectations and provide management‑level insights on audit trends.

Required profile

• Strong background in manufacturing quality, process improvement and ISO 9001 systems.
• Experience leading internal audits and supporting external certification audits.
• Ability to coach process owners and promote audit‑ready behaviours.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
