Manual Test Engineer

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Manual Test Engineer to join the team responsible for its award‑winning app portfolio. You will own product quality, collaborate closely with developers and product managers, and champion a user‑centric testing mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test plans covering functional, basic performance, internationalization and regression scenarios.
• Execute testing within the release cadence and sprint cycles, signing off stories and ensuring timely delivery.
• Create detailed test reports, analyse results and present findings to cross‑functional teams.
• Work directly with developers to identify, prioritize and resolve defects efficiently.
• Integrate testing practices into the software development lifecycle and promote continuous quality improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on testing experience on mobile devices (Android and iOS).
• Proven ability to work with product teams to design and validate test scenarios.
• Experience documenting test cases in tools such as TestRail.
• Strong collaboration skills within cross‑functional Scrum teams.
• Excellent aptitude for both formal and informal testing techniques and quality reporting.
