About the role

Netflix is seeking a seasoned Business & Legal Affairs Manager to lead the Chinese‑language content initiative in Taipei. You will partner with content and marketing teams to provide strategic legal guidance, negotiate deals, and support production and marketing of Chinese‑language films and series for the global streaming platform.

Key responsibilities

• Structure, negotiate, draft, and close licensing, production, financing and distribution agreements for Chinese‑language content.
• Provide legal support for the production and marketing of films and series, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
• Serve as a trusted business partner to content and marketing executives, delivering clear, actionable advice.
• Manage relationships with external counsel and key content partners across the region.
• Coordinate periodic travel, including visits to Netflix’s Singapore office.

Required profile

• Fluency in English and Mandarin with native‑level written Chinese proficiency.
• Proven experience advising on business and legal matters in entertainment, media or intellectual property.
• Demonstrated track record drafting and negotiating contracts in the Chinese‑language film or television industry in Taiwan.
• Ability to work independently, handle high‑volume assignments, and prioritize under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication, cross‑functional collaboration, and solution‑oriented mindset.
