Machine Operator II

About the role

The Machine Operator II is responsible for executing production tasks on the shop floor while adhering to safety, environmental, and quality standards. The role requires daily equipment checks, strict compliance with SOPs, and prompt reporting of any issues to ensure uninterrupted production.

Key responsibilities

• Follow EHS policies and report any safety or environmental concerns immediately.
• Ensure all process and quality SOPs are followed without bypass.
• Perform daily checks on processes and equipment, especially before start‑up or line restart.
• Execute production tasks according to plan, avoiding unexpected shutdowns or delays.
• Report quality issues, gaps, equipment failures, and abnormal conditions promptly.
• Operate equipment using the correct tools and standard work instructions.
• Prevent material waste and contamination.
• Promote energy and consumable savings through awareness and behavior.
• Apply continuous improvement concepts in daily work.
• Complete any additional assignments from the supervisor.

Required profile

• Experience implementing 5S methodology.
• Operational knowledge of moving machinery and electrical equipment.
• Experience with product inspection, data verification, and entry for quality control.
• Ability to work a fixed day or night shift.
• Basic English reading and writing skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Experience handling chemicals is preferred.
