About the role
We are a leading global brand that designs smart baby gear. As our business expands across Asia, we need a Litigation & Dispute Resolution Counsel to lead corporate litigation, pre‑suit disputes and regulatory enforcement worldwide.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain global litigation playbooks, dispute handling policies and settlement guidelines.
- Formulate defence strategies for complex commercial, IP, product liability and regulatory matters.
- Lead early case assessment, internal fact‑finding and liability/damages analysis.
- Manage global litigation operations, including external counsel selection, budgeting and billing oversight.
- Oversee eDiscovery workflows, document retention notices and privilege management in line with cross‑border data‑privacy rules.
- Conduct cross‑functional dispute risk reviews and advise business units on litigation avoidance and contract remediation.
- Partner with executive leadership to assess dispute exposure, settlement strategies and business impact.
Required profile
- Qualified lawyer with 8–10 years post‑qualification experience in commercial litigation, arbitration or dispute resolution.
- Strong background in dispute strategy, legal risk governance and cross‑border commercial disputes.
- Experience managing external law firms and controlling legal spend.
- Proven ability to work with senior business stakeholders and provide commercially focused advice.
