Internal Auditor

About the role

Binance is seeking an Internal Auditor to build and maintain an independent audit function across its global blockchain ecosystem. You will ensure the integrity of internal controls, asset segregation, and compliance with AML/CFT and VASP regulations while supporting the Board and Audit Committee.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement an independent internal audit system and annual audit plan.
• Create self‑assessment mechanisms for AML/CFT, information security, asset custody and trading fairness.
• Perform routine and project‑based audits of internal controls, asset segregation, virtual‑asset listing processes, and unfair‑trading prevention.
• Audit wallet management, information‑system security, access‑control and conduct at least one information‑security audit per year, including penetration testing and vulnerability scanning.
• Issue improvement recommendations, track remediation, and report findings to the Board of Directors and Audit Committee.
• Maintain audit independence by ensuring audit staff do not serve concurrently as AML/CFT compliance officers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Information Management or related field.
• 4+ years of internal audit experience in financial services or a VASP.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CFE, CISA or an FSC‑recognized audit credential.
• Strong knowledge of COSO internal‑control framework and risk‑management principles.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
