Inside Sales Account Executive

About the role

PTC is seeking an Inside Sales Account Executive to drive revenue for its software portfolio. You will work closely with technical teams, field sales, and authorized partners to sell solutions to product development companies and maintain existing relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Sell PTC software, renewal services, training, and consulting to meet assigned revenue quota.
• Collaborate with Certified Software Partners to prospect new accounts and grow existing ones.
• Coordinate with Regional Sales Directors, Field Representatives, and cross‑functional groups (Marketing, Enablement, GBO).
• Maintain quality control of projects and document monthly progress.
• Develop revenue forecasts and quarterly commitments in partnership with sales leadership.
• Track sales activities in the internal CRM system and process immediate software orders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, Mechanical Engineering major.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience.
• Strong understanding of AI tools, SaaS subscription models, and software license compliance (preferred).
• Prior experience selling CAD/PLM solutions is a plus.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
