About the role
Work collaboratively at all levels and with key leaders to build and manage a “best in class” HR function. Serve as a strategic business partner and consult with the local management team to identify issues, root causes and make recommendations to improve results.
Key responsibilities
- Build and manage a best‑in‑class HR function in partnership with senior leaders.
- Act as a strategic business partner, consulting with local management to diagnose problems and recommend improvements.
- Lead Employee Relations, fostering engagement with a multicultural workforce, resolving issues and maintaining a union‑free environment.
- Professionalize talent management by designing cost‑effective recruiting, development and retention strategies that support productivity, safety, service and quality.
- Develop and ensure compliance with local HR programs and policies aligned with short‑ and long‑term business goals.
Required profile
- Minimum 8 years of related HR experience with a 4‑year degree, or 6 years with an advanced degree, or equivalent experience.
- Proven ability to solve complex problems, work independently with minimal guidance, and serve as a resource for less‑experienced colleagues.
- Experience leading project teams and formally training junior staff.
- In‑depth HR knowledge and experience, representing a stable career grade.
