Government Affairs Partner

About the role

Roche is seeking a Government Affairs Partner in Taipei to lead strategic advocacy, build relationships with government officials, and influence health policy to support the company’s objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain deep relationships with prioritized government officials, their staff, and influential organisations.
• Lead comprehensive policy strategies, including communication, partnership opportunities, and evidence generation.
• Monitor the evolving political environment, share insights internally, and develop recommendations on health‑related policy changes.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to align Roche’s portfolio and pipeline with advocacy priorities.
• Work with Roche’s global network and local affiliates to ensure consistent policy positioning.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in public policy or government engagement, with a strong external network in Taiwan.
• Existing direct relationships with economic, financial, and government stakeholders.
• Experience in a government office, consultancy, or industry representative body is highly regarded.
• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English, with a solid compliance track record.
