Global Supply Chain Manager – Silicon

About the role

Google is looking for a Global Supply Chain Manager specialized in silicon to ensure the availability of critical components for its AI and infrastructure hardware. You will partner with engineering, operations, finance and global teams to shape sourcing strategies, drive innovation and keep the supply chain resilient.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate APAC market intelligence, technology roadmaps and risk assessments into global sourcing plans.
• Identify, audit and onboard alternative suppliers while meeting technical, legal and compliance standards.
• Manage the full commercial lifecycle, from purchase order creation to high‑volume manufacturing transition.
• Own regional supplier metrics, lead quarterly business reviews and drive improvements in yield, quality and capacity.
• Act as the primary responder for supply disruptions, resolving technical bottlenecks and logistical issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain and commodity management.
• Proven ability to negotiate agreements and develop supplier relationships globally.
• Strong cross‑cultural communication and negotiation skills.
