Fullstack Engineer – Go, React & TypeScript

About the role

We are seeking a backend‑focused Fullstack Engineer to join our hybrid team in Taipei. You will primarily develop and maintain Go‑based backend services while also contributing to React and TypeScript front‑end work, including the migration of an existing Angular 9 application to React.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Go.
• Integrate backend services with databases, external systems and front‑end applications.
• Improve performance, scalability, reliability and maintainability of backend applications.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues and optimise performance.
• Develop and maintain front‑end applications with React and TypeScript.
• Participate in the migration of the current Angular 9 web application to React.
• Build reusable, maintainable UI components and user interfaces.
• Set up and maintain GitHub‑based deployment pipelines and CI/CD workflows.
• Engage in technical discussions and contribute to continuous improvement within an agile, cross‑functional team.

Required profile

• Fluent English communication (written and verbal).
• Intermediate Mandarin proficiency.
• Collaborative mindset with experience working in agile, cross‑functional teams.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to system reliability.

Required skills

• Go (backend development).
• React and TypeScript (front‑end development).
• Angular (experience with migration to React).
• Git and GitHub Actions (CI/CD pipelines).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (nice to have).
• Database knowledge: MongoDB, PostgreSQL or similar.
• Familiarity with event‑driven architectures (e.g., Kafka) and microservice patterns.
• Infrastructure as code tools like Terraform (nice to have).
