Fire Safety Manager

About the role

Coupang is expanding its operations in Taiwan and seeks a Fire Safety Manager to lead fire protection initiatives for its fulfillment centers. The role ensures the safety of employees, assets, and compliance with all relevant fire regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive fire protection plans for fulfillment center operations.
• Design, train, and coordinate employee emergency response procedures.
• Monitor, inspect, and schedule maintenance of fire safety equipment to guarantee functionality.
• Ensure compliance with government fire safety regulations and Coupang internal guidelines.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate potential fire risks throughout project phases.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts and resolve fire safety issues as they arise.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Safety, Fire Science or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of fire prevention experience, preferably in corporate, industrial or authority‑having‑jurisdiction environments.
• Deep knowledge of fire safety regulations, standards and best practices.
• Proven track record of implementing fire prevention programs at a country or regional level.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to influence stakeholders at all levels.
