Factory Trainer

About the role

The Factory Trainer will lead capability development and coaching for internal site teams during the Run-to-Target (RTT) Accelerator program. This role supports cell structure members, line teams, and daily management system owners to drive performance improvements and cultural change on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the Learn‑Do phase of the RTT Accelerator, building knowledge and coaching cell structure teams, coaches, DMS owners, and factory management.
• Guide data‑driven problem solving, root‑cause analysis, loss prioritisation, and capability building to improve OEE and equipment reliability.
• Act as subject‑matter expert for standard work procedures (IPS/UPS/IDA/90DAP) and ensure correct application and sustainment.
• Support the expansion of the RTT program to additional lines and cells, collaborating with the IWS Manager and site leadership.
• Maintain governance of DMS PDCA cycles and related tools, updating or creating training material to meet global requirements.
• Promote safety and quality on the line, including participation in safety and quality BOS activities.
• Ensure compliance with JTI Management Systems and drive continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, 3R, and Kaizen.
• Manage ad‑hoc tasks and projects as requested by the manager.

Required profile

• University degree or technical qualification.
• Proven experience in industrial training, process improvement, or manufacturing operations.
• Strong understanding of OEE, equipment reliability, and data‑driven problem‑solving methodologies.
• Ability to coach and influence cross‑functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
