Electro Technical Officer (Offshore)

About the role

We are seeking an Electro Technical Officer (ETO) to join our offshore support vessels (SOV and CSOV). The ETO will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all shipboard electrical systems while supporting offshore wind farm projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support and routine maintenance for all electrical equipment on board.
• Monitor and troubleshoot power distribution, control panels, generators, and auxiliary systems.
• Ensure compliance with maritime safety regulations and company operational standards.
• Assist in the planning and execution of electrical installations and repairs during offshore missions.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment status and service activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience working in offshore environments, preferably on SOV or CSOV vessels.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary crew.
• Strong communication skills and adherence to safety culture.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of shipboard electrical systems and equipment.
• Hands‑on experience with offshore electrical operations and maintenance.
• Relevant certifications related to marine electrical systems (e.g., IEC, MARPOL).
