Electrical Technician

About the role

The Electrical Technician will report to the EC&I Supervisor and support the maintenance of all electrical and control system equipment at the Hsintao Combined Cycle Power Plant. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex maintenance on high‑ and low‑voltage power systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot motor operation valves and related equipment.
• Test defective equipment to identify causes of failure.
• Repair or replace relays, switches, controls, and indicating instruments.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs for all electrical assets.
• Manage spare‑parts inventories for plant electrical equipment.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with 480 V, 4.16 kV and 161 kV power systems (preferred).
• Familiarity with DC circuits and relay testing.
• Strong troubleshooting ability and willingness to work weekends and public holidays.
• Good coordination, communication skills and conversational English.
