Electrical System Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Electrical System Engineer to join our global nanofabrication team. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our high‑tech semiconductor equipment, supporting both day‑to‑day operations and long‑term improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve electrical failures and operational issues escalated from first‑line support.
• Investigate recurring problems, perform root‑cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Document findings, create troubleshooting guides, support procedures and knowledge‑base articles.
• Assist with planned maintenance, equipment shutdowns and servicing activities.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects to increase equipment availability and reliability.
• Provide on‑call support and handle escalations as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical systems or machinery, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with semiconductor equipment is a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced setting.
• Familiarity with ticketing tools such as Jira is advantageous.
