Electrical Engineer – Consumer Electronics Hardware

About the role

As an Electrical Engineer you will own the end‑to‑end hardware design of consumer electronic products, driving concepts from early study through mass production. The role requires close collaboration with ODM/OEM partners and cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced, start‑up‑like environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and development of consumer electronic products from pre‑concept through mass production, working with ODM/OEM partners.
• Collaborate with product management, industrial design and cross‑functional teams to conduct pre‑concept studies and prototype proof‑of‑concepts.
• Own circuit design, PCB layout and validation activities, creating robust hardware validation test plans.
• Perform troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis and implement design modifications throughout the product lifecycle.
• Partner with software engineers on hardware‑software co‑development, peripheral interface definition and board support package bring‑up.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 6+ years of experience in consumer electronics design using ARM SoC, including system‑level circuit design, bring‑up, integration and debug.
• Proven experience with ESD/EMI immunity, RF de‑sensitization and integration of Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, GPS technologies.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time and fluency in English and Mandarin.
