LOC Quality Manager

About the role

Haleon, a consumer health company with brands such as Sensodyne, Panadol, Advil, Voltaren, Theraflu, Otrivin and Centrum, is looking for a LOC Quality Manager in Taipei. The role covers quality management and compliance for the local operations centre (LOC) and its supply chain, ensuring quality systems and good manufacturing practice requirements are met.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure implementation of the HALEON Quality Management System and GMP requirements at country or cluster level
• Monitor quality metrics against targets and work with the General Manager and Area Leads on improvement areas
• Define responsibilities of LOC quality staff and drive sharing of information and knowledge between LOCs
• Escalate quality incidents, analyse them and direct LOCs to use the product incident management process when needed
• Manage the country quality team, set their development and objective targets, and act as quality contact for supply chain and commercial teams
• Work with LOC personnel on audit findings and periodic quality system reviews, proposing CAPAs
• Coordinate LOC and distribution centre readiness for Health Authority inspections
• Oversee quality of new product introduction, distribution network, complaints, artwork and product release in line with local regulations, and provide third-party quality oversight

Required profile

• Scientific and engineering background
• Quality experience in pharmaceutical, consumer healthcare or medical devices, with application of quality systems
• Proven influence across business levels and functions
• Competent people manager able to identify and promote talent
• Experience working with and leading cross-site, multifunctional teams
