EHS Officer – SI EA (Chiayi)

About the role

Siemens is looking for an experienced EHS Officer to join its SI EA team in Chiayi, Taiwan. You will oversee daily environmental, health and safety activities across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and Siemens’ standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily EHS tasks performed by project EHS Engineers.
• Conduct routine site visits to verify effective implementation of EHS requirements.
• Plan, coordinate and coach competency development for newly assigned EHS personnel.
• Review project EHS documentation, KPIs and management reports.
• Support high‑risk activities, special projects and risk‑control measures.
• Perform cross‑project audits and follow up corrective actions.
• Consolidate incident, near‑miss and audit findings for analysis and continuous improvement.
• Assist in the rollout of digital EHS tools and standardized processes.
• Coordinate EHS communications among Project Managers, Site Management and the EHS Leader.
• Manage outsourced EHS personnel, allocating work and monitoring performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of practical experience in project EHS management; experience on TSMC construction or fab projects is highly preferred.
• Class A Occupational Safety Manager or Class A Occupational Health Manager certification.
• Familiarity with Taiwan occupational safety and health regulations.
• Good communication and coordination skills; basic English proficiency.
