Director, Paid Social & Display Marketing (Growth Marketing, Taiwan)

About the role

Coupang is seeking an experienced marketing leader to own the strategy, planning and execution of paid social and display marketing in Taiwan. The role will manage a large media investment, lead a team of channel experts and collaborate with cross‑functional partners to drive customer acquisition, retention and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Own strategy, planning and execution for paid social and display channels (Meta, TikTok, programmatic display and other publishers) with accountability for acquisition, retention and efficiency targets.
• Manage large‑scale media budgets, including forecasting, pacing and reallocation based on marginal returns, incrementality evidence and seasonality.
• Build, lead and develop a team of channel managers and specialists, setting high standards for analytical rigor, platform craft and operational excellence.
• Partner with peer leaders across other channels and collaborate with creative, product and data‑science teams to connect media execution to business outcomes.
• Drive measurement excellence by designing conversion lift studies and evolving attribution frameworks beyond last‑click.
• Serve as senior point of contact for platform partners, negotiating early access to new products and driving joint business plans.
• Present channel performance, forecasts and investment cases to senior stakeholders, translating complex measurement results into clear recommendations.

Required profile

• 10+ years of digital advertising experience, with 5+ years focused on paid social and/or display at significant investment scale.
• 4+ years of people‑management experience.
• Deep hands‑on experience across major ad platforms.
• Proven track record of driving measurable, incremental growth in fast‑moving, data‑driven environments.
