Data Analytics Engineer – Manufacturing (Tainan)

About the role

The Means & Methods (M&M) team is driving digital transformation across manufacturing operations. We are looking for a highly motivated engineer to apply AI and digital technologies to real manufacturing challenges, working closely with manufacturing, engineering, IT and global stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support insight generation, data analytics and digital transformation projects across manufacturing operations.
• Develop and implement scalable AI solutions to improve efficiency, quality and decision‑making.
• Lead or support AI‑driven initiatives such as AI visual inspection, Microsoft Copilot agents, knowledge‑management platforms, predictive analytics, and process automation.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Design, develop and maintain dashboards, reports and analytics tools.
• Drive proof‑of‑concept, pilot projects and industrialisation of digital solutions from ideation to deployment.
• Promote data governance, solution scalability and best practices in digital manufacturing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, IT, Automation or related fields.
• Experience in data analytics, automation or digital transformation projects, preferably in manufacturing, semiconductor or high‑tech industries.
• Hands‑on experience delivering AI solutions from concept through production deployment.
• Familiarity with agile development and project management methodologies.
