Customer and Commercial Operations Specialist

About the role

The Customer and Commercial Operations Specialist supports the end‑to‑end order process for Applied Materials’ semiconductor equipment in Hsinchu. You will handle quotes, orders, RMAs, warranty claims, billing, and invoice reconciliation while coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Support quotes, orders, RMAs, and warranty claims; follow up on open transactions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve delivery holds and execute kit requests.
• Assist with billing and invoice reconciliation across multiple product lines.
• Help resolve invoice disputes, support AR follow‑ups and delivery coordination.
• Provide proactive updates on high‑value orders and expedite parts with internal teams.
• Monitor past‑due, obsolete, or problem parts and build system/process knowledge.
• Participate in system testing (RIT/UAT) and assist in resolving basic system issues such as B2B and ASN.
• Ensure tasks follow compliance procedures and contribute to team KPIs.
• Support customer satisfaction by responding professionally to inquiries and resolving basic issues with empathy.
• Assist with MDG customer master setup and entitlement compliance under supervision.

• Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems and makes judgments based on standard practices.
