About the role

ICON plc is seeking a Manager, Clinical Operations to lead the execution of clinical trials from a remote, home‑based setting. You will ensure studies are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with regulatory standards while fostering a collaborative team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute clinical trial operations, adhering to protocols and timelines.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimise trial design and improve operational efficiency.
• Monitor trial progress, analyse performance metrics, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
• Mentor and develop junior staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth communication across all operational activities.

• Solid experience in clinical operations with a proven ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong leadership and people‑management skills in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of influencing stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% as needed.
