Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Turnaround Leadership in Taiwan

About the role

This senior leadership position is based in Taiwan and will lead the financial turnaround of AvanStrate Inc. (ASI), a world‑leading LCD glass substrate manufacturer with a debt‑free balance sheet. The CFO will drive profitability, strengthen governance and build a scalable platform for long‑term value creation.

Key responsibilities

• Drive business profitability and EBITDA improvement through budgeting, forecasting and performance management, and develop value‑creation plans and financial roadmaps.
• Improve cash generation and working capital, strengthen inventory turns and receivables management, and establish rigorous cash governance.
• Partner with the CEO and COO on business decisions, evaluate strategic investments and growth initiatives, and support commercial and pricing decisions.
• Strengthen financial controls and compliance, ensure robust operating reviews and management reporting, and drive transparency and accountability.
• Lead business model evaluation, support portfolio optimisation, develop return‑on‑capital frameworks, and drive shareholder value creation.
• Work closely with the Board, shareholders and group leadership, manage banking and financing relationships, and support funding and capital allocation decisions.
