Buyer – Procurement & Supplier Management

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Buyer to join our Purchasing team in Xindian, New Taipei City. The role focuses on material control, delivery follow‑up, supplier coordination, cost negotiation and cross‑functional communication to ensure supply continuity and on‑time delivery in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Track material status, expedite critical items and support pull‑in requests to improve on‑time delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers to manage delivery commitments, resolve supply issues and respond to internal inquiries.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions to achieve cost reductions and improve competitiveness.
• Convert purchase requisitions to purchase orders accurately and in compliance with internal processes.
• Support QA and RMA activities, coordinating with internal teams and vendors to shorten issue‑closure cycles.
• Conduct supplier risk reviews, maintain Business Continuity Planning documentation and report on supply‑chain risks.
• Investigate delivery delays, identify root causes and implement corrective actions with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with outsourcing coordination and emergency logistics to avoid delays and control unexpected costs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, material control or supplier management.
• Proven ability to own material follow‑up, delivery control, cost awareness and issue resolution.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with suppliers and cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and urgent requests under pressure.

Required skills

• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
