Bilingual Teacher Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Assistant Academic Director to lead teacher development initiatives and drive instructional excellence across our global teaching team. The role focuses on elevating online engagement, coaching faculty, and ensuring curriculum delivery meets the highest pedagogical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver onboarding programs for new faculty, aligning them with company standards.
• Organise monthly professional development workshops on EdTech trends, student engagement, and digital pedagogy.
• Create and run "Train‑the‑Trainer" modules for Lead Teachers and mentors.
• Lead academic observation programmes, providing coaching and actionable feedback to senior staff.
• Analyse performance data to identify instructional gaps and implement targeted interventions.
• Bridge curriculum developers and teachers to ensure new materials are engaging and teachable.
• Pilot digital tools and teaching methodologies, gathering frontline feedback for refinement.
• Serve as escalation point for complex instructional issues and collaborate with product and B2B teams on customized programs.
• Prepare impact reports on training initiatives, student satisfaction (NPS) and teacher retention.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in teacher training, academic management, or faculty development.
• Certified TEFL/TESOL qualification (CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL required; Delta or DipTESOL preferred).
• Proven track record designing training curricula and conducting teacher observations.
• Native‑level English proficiency with strong public speaking and presentation skills.
• Based in Taipei or willing to relocate.
