Associate Accountant

About the role

Medtronic is seeking an Associate Accountant to join its finance team. In this entry‑level position you will support the preparation and analysis of financial information, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Apply accounting principles to analyze financial data and prepare internal and external reports.
• Maintain control of accounts related to disbursements, expenses, tax payments and income.
• Compile, record and verify transactions, and produce balance sheets, profit & loss, and cash‑flow statements.
• Design, modify or maintain accounting systems to ensure proper recognition of financial transactions.
• Support month‑end close processes and assist with technical accounting for M&A activities.
• Research complex transactions and implement new accounting standards as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (or equivalent international degree).
• Strong theoretical knowledge of accounting concepts.
• Ability to work under close supervision on limited‑scope projects.
• Attention to detail and commitment to adhering to accounting policies and internal controls.
