Air Logistics Customer Care Specialist

About the role

As a member of Kuehne+Nagel’s Freight Forwarding team, you will support customers in air logistics by providing information, answering queries and resolving complaints. The role focuses on delivering excellent service for a wide range of shipments, from medicines to machine parts, and contributes to the company’s promise of reliable delivery worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Drive customer engagement, satisfaction, retention and re‑activation in close cooperation with Field Sales and the Operational Care Center.
• Establish and strengthen operational relationships through regular contact, proactive advice and consulting.
• Qualify customer inquiries, prepare quotations within approved price bands and follow up to secure acceptance.
• Support customer onboarding, ensuring requirements are captured in Kuehne+Nagel systems and initial orders are processed.
• Collaborate with Finance and the Revenue Care Center to adjust credit limits and manage related issues.
• Document, resolve and analyse complaints, identify root causes and share corrective actions.
• Prepare, review and refine customer reports.

Required profile

• Strong time‑management abilities and the capacity to build effective relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Good knowledge of freight forwarding operations, products and services.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving.
