AI-Enabled Full Stack Developer (Experienced)

About the role

Micron Technology, a global leader in memory and storage solutions, is hiring an experienced AI Full Stack Engineer in Taichung. The engineer builds modern applications with AI as a first-class capability, using prompt engineering, Vibe Coding and custom agents built around the Model Context Protocol (MCP), and applies solid software engineering fundamentals to turn AI capabilities into production systems.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to platform enablement, architecture decisions, code reviews and shared engineering standards.
• Design, build, test, deploy and operate full-stack software, owning features end-to-end.
• Work with business teams to turn requirements into scalable solutions.
• Design and implement custom AI agents for task automation, decision support, summarization and multi-step reasoning.
• Build systems using MCP to share context between models, tools and agents, and expose tools to LLM-based agents.
• Integrate applications with external and internal AI services (LLMs, embeddings, search, tools) via well-designed APIs.
• Harden AI components for mission-critical manufacturing systems, covering reliability, latency, security, permissions, observability and maintainability.
• Use AI-assisted tools to speed development, then critically evaluate and refine AI-generated output.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field.
• Proven experience building and operating production-grade backend or full-stack systems, including API design, service integration and data persistence.
• Experience in cloud-native environments, including CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments and modern operational practices.
• Comfortable collaborating across engineering and business teams.
• Fluent English.

Required skills

• Full-stack engineering: object-oriented design, clean code, testing strategies and long-term maintainability.
• Modern backend frameworks (e.g. C#, ASP.NET) and frontend frameworks (e.g. Angular).
• RESTful APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases, and Kubernetes-based container platforms.
• Prompt engineering, Vibe Coding, context window management and chain-of-thought design.
• Model Context Protocol (MCP) or equivalent structured agent/tool interfaces.
• RAG-based systems and hands-on experience integrating them.
