Advanced Quality Engineer

About the role

The Advanced Quality Engineer joins CoolIT’s Product Quality team to drive product quality throughout New Product Introduction (NPI) and launch phases. You will work closely with cross‑functional engineering groups to embed robust design and manufacturing practices for high‑performance cooling solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead APQP deliverables including DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Validation.
• Coordinate PPAP execution and ensure production readiness.
• Conduct design reviews of CAD models, specifications, and engineering change notices to mitigate quality risks.
• Develop and maintain Quality Control Plans, defining inspection methods and process controls.
• Collect and analyze quality and process data using statistical tools to identify trends.
• Lead root‑cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions (e.g., 8D).
• Facilitate Lean and Six Sigma improvement workshops across functions.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert for key quality processes and ensure documentation compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and electromechanical systems.
• Proven ability to lead quality planning activities for NPI projects.
