Accounting & Compliance Controlling Manager (Consolidated Reporting)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting & Compliance Controlling Manager to lead our group consolidation and reporting processes. The role will ensure accurate consolidated financial statements in line with IFRS and local GAAP, while driving process improvements and supporting audit and stakeholder engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual group consolidation, including inter‑company eliminations, reconciliations and adjustments.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP, handling foreign currency translation, minority interests and equity‑method investments.
• Oversee period‑closing activities for subsidiaries, review inter‑company balances and produce statutory and management reports.
• Provide financial analyses, variance explanations and trend insights for management decision‑making.
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors, coordinate audit requests and address findings.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal finance policies and corporate governance, and maintain robust documentation.
• Own and enhance consolidation systems (e.g., Hyperion, SAP BPC, OneStream, Tagetik) and drive automation and standardisation.
• Participate in finance transformation projects and lead ad‑hoc strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Solid accounting experience with extensive exposure to group consolidation in a multinational or multi‑entity environment.
• Proven track record preparing consolidated financial statements for groups with multiple subsidiaries.
• Hands‑on experience working directly with external auditors.
• In‑depth knowledge of IFRS, especially group consolidation, business combinations and foreign currency accounting.
