Account Manager (Photonics Connectivity Solution)

About the role

The Account Manager for Photonics Connectivity Solutions will drive business growth for ODM‑built solutions across Asia. You will shape and execute account strategies, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and act as a trusted technical consultant for key customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of each account’s needs, challenges, and decision‑makers, and communicate the value of Corning’s photonics solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customer executives and ecosystem partners, positioning yourself as a problem‑solver and business partner.
• Own the commercial strategy for each account, coordinating Marketing, Technology, and Operations to achieve revenue targets.
• Lead global execution, influence direct and indirect teams, and manage the buying process to increase preference for Corning products.
• Design and implement senior‑management engagement plans to strengthen strategic partnerships.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership and fully utilize Salesforce.com CRM for account planning.
• Deliver market and technology insights, competitive analysis, and pricing feedback to internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Ability to work effectively in an unstructured environment with minimal supervision.
• Proven capability to lead and motivate multi‑functional teams.
• Strong collaboration skills across PCS and DCBU teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesforce.com CRM.
