Account Manager – HVAC/R Solutions

About the role

As an Account Manager at Danfoss Climate Solutions, you will drive revenue growth for the HVAC‑R business by strengthening relationships with existing and new customers, delivering innovative cooling solutions, and expanding our market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the Danfoss Cooling business in the HVAC‑R industry, focusing on wholesalers, OEMs, and contractors.
• Execute growth strategies to increase share of wallet and introduce disciplined trading practices.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and partner customers to ensure a compelling value proposition.
• Manage indirect sales and partner channels, providing technical and product training to improve partner capabilities.
• Expand the project pipeline, identify new opportunities, and achieve target win amounts through collaboration with partners and end‑customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Refrigeration Engineering, or Business.
• Prior sales experience with distribution systems, OEMs, or contractors in air‑conditioning or industrial refrigeration, or at least 3 years of technical/sales experience in the sector.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Fluent English.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the refrigeration cycle.
• Understanding of HVAC‑R industry products and applications.
• Ability to deliver technical product training.
