Taiwan Corporate Affairs & MISP Communication Lead

About the role

The Taiwan Corporate Affairs & MISP Communication Lead is responsible for shaping Pfizer's external reputation in Taiwan and serves as the single accountable external voice for the company. Reporting to the Taiwan Country Manager and sitting on the Taiwan Leadership Team, the role provides strategic communications leadership across the full product portfolio and the MISP cluster.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an integrated external communications strategy for all Pfizer products in Taiwan, including PCV, RSV, Paxlovid and future launches.
• Advise the Country Manager and leadership team on reputation, stakeholder engagement, media relations and policy‑sensitive matters.
• Lead media relations, corporate reputation, disease‑awareness campaigns, executive visibility and issues management.
• Oversee Taiwan Policy activities and coach the Policy Lead to align policy priorities with communications.
• Provide strategic counsel for MISP vaccine campaigns and corporate reputation initiatives, managing a dedicated communications contractor.
• Lead and develop the Policy Lead and MISP Communications Contractor, and manage external agencies and vendors.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in corporate affairs, external communications or public affairs, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
• Proven ability to act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on reputation and policy matters.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing direct reports and external partners.
• Demonstrated capability to integrate communications and policy agendas into a cohesive corporate affairs strategy.
