Site Safety Manager

About the role

Air Products is seeking a Site Safety Manager to lead Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) performance across all project sites in Taiwan. The role provides visible, credible EHS leadership to project teams, contractors and senior management, ensuring alignment with global, regional and local safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the functional EHS leader for PDO Taiwan, accountable for EHS performance across all sites.
• Lead EHS planning and implementation throughout project mobilization, construction, commissioning and hand‑over.
• Define and enforce contractor EHS qualification, onboarding and performance management.
• Conduct audits, inspections and KPI reviews, and drive corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with Taiwan EHS laws, permits and construction safety regulations.
• Act as primary interface with regulatory authorities, customers and external auditors.
• Define, track and report EHS KPIs, analyze trends and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Oversee EHS training requirements and capability development for project teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an EHS leader on large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of Taiwan EHS legislation and Air Products global EHS policies.
• Ability to influence senior management, project managers and contractor organizations.
• Experience conducting audits, investigations and root‑cause analyses.
