Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

GMI is a fast‑growing AI infrastructure startup seeking a hands‑on Site Reliability Engineer to join its Global Infrastructure team. You will be responsible for keeping large‑scale, high‑performance AI/ML GPU clusters stable, efficient, and reliable.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable AI/ML infrastructure solutions.
• Monitor GPU cluster health and performance, troubleshooting compute, accelerator, and storage issues.
• Automate deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of GPU nodes.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure orchestration.
• Ensure security, compliance, and best‑practice standards across all resources.
• Respond to incidents involving GPU, CPU, storage, and network components.
• Handle customer provisioning requests and resolve related service tickets.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging GPU hardware and software technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data‑center operations, infrastructure, or systems engineering.
• Proven experience in site reliability engineering and infrastructure automation.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze system logs and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Ansible
• Terraform
• Kubernetes (including Nvidia GPU operator, Nvidia Network operator, CNI, CSI)
• Job scheduling systems such as Slurm
• Linux system administration
• Scripting in Python and Bash
• Monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Loki
• Knowledge of GPU architecture, Nvidia CUDA, NCCL (advantageous)
