Service Technician – Offshore Wind Farm

About the role

This entry‑level position supports the ramp‑up of the Hai Long offshore wind farm. You will work on a Service Operations Vessel in a 2‑weeks‑on/2‑weeks‑off rotation, performing hands‑on maintenance and ensuring strict safety and documentation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on wind turbine mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Assist senior technicians with troubleshooting and diagnosing routine malfunctions.
• Execute basic repairs using hand and power tools according to detailed work instructions.
• Adhere to all Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) protocols, especially when working at heights or with high‑voltage equipment.
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate maintenance logs using designated software.
• Read and interpret basic engineering drawings and technical manuals.
• Help maintain inventory of tools, spare parts and test equipment on‑site.

Required profile

• Vocational or technical degree (e.g., BTS, DUT) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Maintenance.
• 0‑2 years of experience in a technical or industrial environment; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to work safely in a supervised, team‑oriented setting.
• Ability to work on a rotating schedule (2 weeks on‑site, 2 weeks off).
