Offshore Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician

About the role

As an Offshore Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician you will play a key role in the energy transition by ensuring the optimal performance and availability of offshore wind turbines. Based at Formosa, you will work in a demanding offshore environment where safety and professionalism are paramount.

Key responsibilities

• Perform 60% of time on preventive and corrective maintenance, including high‑voltage system work.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and automation faults.
• Execute corrective actions to restore turbine functionality and conduct inspections and tests.
• Prepare for missions by gathering documentation, tools, and spare parts, and ensure safe transfers via crew transfer vessels.
• Create detailed reports on all interventions, parts used, and findings.

Required profile

• Vocational degree or diploma in Maintenance, Mechanics, Electrotechnics, Automation or related field.
• Proven experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial setting; wind energy experience is a strong advantage.
• Ability to work a 7/7 rotation schedule, autonomously and responsibly.
• Strong English proficiency for technical communication.
