Senior Test Engineer - ATE

About the role

Renesas Electronics is looking for a Senior Test Engineer to join a fast-paced, result-oriented Test Engineering Team. The team develops innovative and cost-effective software and hardware ATE production and qualification solutions used in high-volume Power Management ICs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust and cost-efficient ATE test programs.
• Organize, coordinate and lead test-related activities internally and externally throughout the product development and production lifecycle, ensuring first-time-right quality, faster time to market and successful launches.
• Identify and carry out continuous improvements to ATE solutions to reduce cost, improve yield or resolve mass-production quality issues.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the organization at multiple time zones during product development, launch and production.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent education.
• Experience in ATE test development for analogue and mixed-signal ICs.
• Hands-on experience with Advantest V93K, Cohu DiamondX and/or Teradyne UltraFLEX or equivalent mixed-signal ATE.
• Strong technical knowledge of electronic devices and circuits and mixed-signal test techniques.
• Experience with hardware and PCB design tools, and with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters and VIPER.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and data analysis tools.
• Understanding of GIT revision control or similar.
• Good verbal and written communication, teamwork, mentoring and leadership of junior team members.
