Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist - University Relations & Campus Recruiting

About the role

KLA, a provider of advanced inspection tools and metrology systems for electronics manufacturing, is hiring a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The role sits within the HR team's talent acquisition focus and involves building university partnerships, running campus and recruiting events, and owning full-cycle recruiting for one assigned division.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run a university engagement plan aligned with hiring demand, technical disciplines, locations and timelines, and build relationships with career centers, faculty, labs, student groups and alumni networks.
• Lead campus talks, career fairs, technical sessions, department and company visits, and recruit events such as open houses, interview days, networking and virtual career sessions, including planning, budget and follow-up.
• Maintain year-round engagement to build candidate pipelines before hiring peaks, and set qualified-resume targets for each activity.
• Increase qualified candidate supply through university partnerships, events, referrals and professional networks, screen profiles and keep candidate pools searchable and up to date.
• Own full-cycle recruiting for one division, from sourcing and interviews through offer negotiation and onboarding handoff, working with hiring managers and keeping Workday records accurate.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Communications, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent academic standing (doctorate with 0 years, master's with 3 years, or bachelor's with 5 years of related experience).
• 10+ years of talent acquisition experience, including hands-on recruiting and ownership of university, campus or candidate-generation programs.
• Proven track record of building partnerships and running recruiting events that produce qualified resumes, and of managing full-cycle recruiting independently.
• Preferred: experience recruiting for engineering, semiconductor, equipment or other technical organizations.

Required skills

• Clean, validate and analyze recruiting data in Excel, using resume volume, channel costs and conversion rates to recommend universities, events and sourcing activities.
• Strong relationship-building, presentation, project management, sourcing, screening and negotiation skills.
