Employee Relations Investigator

About the role

KLA, a global leader in electronics for the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem, is hiring an Employee Relations Investigator in Hsinchu. The role covers fair, thorough and timely investigations of alleged policy or law violations, with support from the Global Employee Relations Center of Excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct fair, thorough and timely investigations into allegations of violations of KLA's policies or local law and policies, ensuring fair treatment of all employees.
• Carry out all investigation steps, including document review, interviews, investigation reports, recommendations of remedial actions and reporting of findings, trends and related metrics.
• Manage and work with third-party resources such as digital forensics, investigation and document review firms.
• Manage document reviews, including collection, review and analysis of relevant documents.
• Train employees on KLA's investigation process, including reporting channels and the importance of raising issues.
• Support the Global Employee Relations Center of Excellence on other projects, initiatives and strategic opportunities as they arise.

Required profile

• 4-year undergraduate degree in Employee Relations, Human Resources or a related field.
• At least 8+ years of professional experience conducting internal workplace investigations in-house or at a law firm.
• Familiarity with employment laws in Taiwan and APAC.
• Willingness to collaborate across teams, regions and time zones, including international travel.

• Fluent English and Mandarin (verbal and written).
• Excellent communication, analytical, influencing and writing skills.
• Self-motivated and persistent, with strong independent judgment and comfort managing legal risk.
