Senior Signal Integrity Design Engineer

About the role

Molex is seeking a Senior Signal Integrity Design Engineer to support the development of high‑speed interconnects for next‑generation PCIe and OIF/IEEE standards. You will work with cutting‑edge 3‑D electromagnetic simulation tools and collaborate closely with PCB layout teams to ensure robust signal performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimise high‑speed connectors, cables and PCBs using full‑wave 3D EM solvers.
• Perform empirical and analytical signal‑integrity evaluations under nominal and worst‑case conditions.
• Correlate simulation results with measurements and generate detailed reports.
• Guide the PCB layout team in creating SI test boards and customer verification boards.
• Produce qualification test reports and technical presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in signal‑integrity analysis for high‑speed interfaces.
• Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written).

Required skills

• HFSS, ADS, Allegro (SI simulation tools).
• VNA and TDR equipment for SI testing.
• Python and MATLAB for data analysis and scripting.
• Knowledge of PCB design rules, DFM and power‑integrity concepts.
• Experience with PCIe 5/6/7, OIF/IEEE 112/224 specifications.
