Digital Manufacturing Site Administrator

About the role

The Digital Manufacturing Site Administrator will deliver hands‑on IT and Operational Technology (OT) support for Molex Taiwan’s manufacturing operations. Based in Sanchong, you will ensure that infrastructure, endpoint devices, and production‑related systems run reliably while supporting site expansion, ERP/MES deployments, and digital tool upgrades.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site IT/OT support across manufacturing floors, engineering offices, and logistics areas to maintain stable daily operations.
• Operate, maintain and improve site technology services including networks, wireless, server rooms, endpoints, collaboration tools, identity and access management, and shop‑floor infrastructure.
• Support manufacturing applications and integrated systems such as ERP, MES, PLCs, HMIs, IIoT gateways, label printers, barcode scanners, access control, CCTV and other production‑supporting technologies.
• Coordinate incident resolution and service requests through standard enterprise processes, especially when production or business continuity is at risk.
• Partner with business users, vendors and regional/global IT teams on infrastructure, digital manufacturing, and application projects from requirements through go‑live and stabilization.
• Promote technology innovation, automation and data‑driven improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce risk.
• Assist with cybersecurity, vulnerability remediation, backup and recovery, audit/compliance activities and business continuity planning.
• Maintain accurate site documentation, asset records, warranty tracking and operational readiness for critical systems.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience providing IT and OT support in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams including engineering, logistics, quality, finance and HR.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive attitude toward incident response and system improvement.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with vendors, global IT groups and local business users.
