Senior Project Manager – Project Management

About the role

As a Senior Project Manager in Project Management, you will lead the execution of construction and workplace projects, ensuring quality, cost, safety, and scheduling objectives are met. You will coordinate stakeholders, manage site operations, and foster a collaborative, high‑performing project environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop junior team members, promoting open communication and accountability.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers, facilitating regular stakeholder meetings and transparent reporting.
• Manage overall project delivery, including quality, cost, statutory compliance, safety, environmental standards and schedule adherence.
• Maintain and update the master programme, weekly work plans, look‑ahead schedules and inspection timelines.
• Monitor site progress and quality, ensuring safety standards and compliance are upheld.
• Oversee external consultants and multidisciplinary teams, acting as the primary liaison between internal and external parties.
• Produce comprehensive project reports and manage schedules using tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or Excel.
• Handle full procurement process for consultants, from scope definition to contract negotiation, ensuring compliance with internal policies.

Required profile

• Construction‑related degree (e.g., Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering) or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in project or construction management, with proven leadership of large‑scale, high‑complexity projects.
• Mastery of project management concepts, tools and techniques.
• Strong communication, leadership and people‑management skills.
• Business acumen to drive client outcomes and coordinate design and construction teams.
• Native‑level proficiency in Chinese and business‑level proficiency in English.
