About the role
Monolithic Power Systems is seeking a Senior Layout Engineer to join its fast‑growing semiconductor team in Taipei. You will work closely with the Design, CAD and Layout managers on mixed‑signal and analog integrated circuit projects.
Key responsibilities
- Estimate layout schedules and create chip plans, including die size estimation.
- Perform device placement at block level, block implementation on top level, and signal matching with shielding techniques.
- Apply pad/ESD rules, routing, and connections while ensuring database DRC and LVS verification.
- Execute chip tape‑out following the company’s tape‑out procedure.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of layout experience in analog and/or mixed‑signal circuit design.
- Ability to independently resolve DRC and LVS issues and manage tape‑out.
- Familiarity with analog process fundamentals.
Required skills
- Cadence layout tools.
- Virtuoso layout tools (preferred).
