Senior Frontend Engineer (SPA, Micro‑frontend, AI‑augmented)

About the role

The Senior Frontend Engineer will design and build a single‑page application platform using a modern monorepo and micro‑frontend architecture. The role balances feature delivery with architectural decisions and drives AI‑augmented development practices to increase team productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement reusable core components and shared libraries for the SPA platform.
• Lead performance optimisation initiatives, measuring bundle size, render time and Web Vitals.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and QA engineers to refine requirements and ensure technical feasibility.
• Conduct deep code reviews focused on architecture, performance and maintainability.
• Evolve coding standards, type‑safety guardrails and review checklists.
• Investigate and resolve frontend‑related production incidents.
• Use AI coding tools (Claude Code, Copilot) effectively and establish prompt templates, custom skills and automated rules.
• Build internal tooling such as lint rules, Git hooks and code generators to amplify productivity.
• Share knowledge through tech talks, documentation and peer reviews.
• Collaborate with backend, DevOps and platform teams on contracts and operational concerns.

Required profile

• 5+ years of frontend development experience, with a proven track record of shipping large‑scale SPAs.
• Strong ownership mindset, pragmatic decision‑making and ability to lead technical initiatives end‑to‑end.
• Experience using AI tools as a force multiplier while maintaining rigorous code quality.
• Collaborative communication style and commitment to continuous learning in the fast‑moving frontend ecosystem.
• Ability to work effectively in a team that values open knowledge sharing.
