Senior Field Application Engineer – Automotive

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Field Application Engineer to build trusted relationships with key engineering leaders at automotive customers, understand their needs and drive design wins through strong technical execution and support.

Key responsibilities

• Develop close relationships with engineering leaders at targeted customers and provide technical deep‑dives, hands‑on training and issue analysis.
• Assess technical feasibility of customer projects, propose realistic solutions, timelines and risk assessments.
• Manage project priorities, coordinate with segment marketing, systems engineering, software R&D, regional sales, FAEs and customers.
• Collaborate with Business Line marketing and regional sales/BD to align on projects and ensure timely, quality delivery.
• Train and develop domain‑specific knowledge on MPU/MCU aspects required for customer projects.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Control or Computer Engineering (advanced degree preferred).
• 5+ years of experience with semiconductor products in roles such as product applications, systems engineer, or field applications engineer.
• Proven ability to build and lead a high‑performing customer‑facing engineering team.
